3 words to help you create your best year in 2023
Hello my friend,
It's January 17, and I am late for the party, I guess. :)
How are your first 2+ weeks in 2023?
Rested and ready to follow through on your commitments?
Or already feeling overwhelmed by your to-do list, goals, plans?
Because of a few other commitments, I intentionally took the first two weeks of January off to give myself time to go within. Eat, sleep, laugh, cry, write, meet with friends, family...
2022 was a rough year for many (including me) and I feel like most of us simply want to move forward and leave it behind us.
More and more humans are opening their eyes, looking inwards, questioning things. Many are feeling tired and fed up. When you reach that level, you no longer buy into the ‘BS’ and start acting and making decisions from a place of self-empowerment. It's like suddenly there is no other choice (but in a good way).
For 2023 I have chosen a few focus words. (Please, after reading this email, click ‘replay’ and share your word(s) with me) Here are some of mine:
Vitality. /vʌɪˈtalɪti/ noun. The state of being strong and active; energy. The power giving continuance of life, present in all living things. — When there is no vitality, there is no life. It's like you make a dinner table but remove the table and suddenly, everything falls. I have said this many times and will repeat it again - your energy is your greatest currency. Take damn good care of it.
Simplicity. /sɪmˈplɪsɪti/ noun. The quality or condition of being easy to understand or do. The quality or condition of being plain or uncomplicated in form or design. — Simplicity has been one of the core messages in my own work and working with clients. I guess I just want to keep that in mind for 2023 as well.
Magnetism. /ˈmaɡnɪtɪz(ə)m/ noun. A physical phenomenon produced by the motion of electric charge, which results in attractive and repulsive forces between objects. The ability to attract and charm people. — A magnet does not worry if it attracts because the material exhibits properties of magnetism. It' knows' and' trusts' that it happens because that's what it's made of. This is a great reminder to trust and lean in even more.
Despite the uncertainty and chaos in 2022, I am 110% sure that I still love my business, my fellow entrepreneurs, my email community (YOU!) and every human who hired me in 2022 and will hire me in 2023. Is it a coaching package, a program, a motivational talk, or a one-time coaching session — I appreciate you.
I continue to feel passionate about helping other entrepreneurs navigate the business world with joy, courage and inspired actions. As well as inspiring humans through my teachings, talks and workshops.
